Have a butcher’s at our Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 23 strikers round-up, lovingly pieced together and laid on for all you Fantasy heads out there.
We ought to point out that our Fantasy Football tips are based on the official Fantasy Premier League online game, but the principles should apply more or less across the board.
Come on, then…
Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 23: Strikers
He’s back! Manchester City hotshot Sergio Agüero, of course – he needed just half an hour to get a goal and an assist in the 4-2 win over Cardiff City last time out, so do your £12.3m thing and get him back in there.
You know, if you want to.
Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke can also be construed as being ‘back’, having been out with injury and then suffering a long goalless streak.
With strikes in each of his last two, against Arsenal and Liverpool no less, we daresay he looks worthy of £8.7m of your Fantasy coins once again.
His teammate Gabriel Agbonlahor set up both Villa goals in the 2-2 draw at Anfield last time out, and he also has a couple of goals of late – £6.7m you can have him for.
Goodness knows who Chelsea will play up front from one game to the next, but Samuel Eto’o would have cause for a gripe if his hat-trick against Manchester United doesn’t earn him a start at home to West Ham United.
He’ll set you back £8.2m if you fancy him to repeat the trick, or even come close.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Emmanuel Adebayor continued his fine form with another two goals in the 3-1 win at Southampton, so he’s looking a very good option at 7.8m.
Spurs host champions elect Manchester City on Tuesday, but City aren’t always watertight, as they showed in conceding twice at home to Cardiff City last time out.
Finally, a word on the Merseyside derby at Anfield – Luis Suárez, Daniel Sturridge and Romelu Lukaku all scored in the 3-3 draw at Goodison Park earlier in the season, so Liverpool v Everton could be something to profit from.
